Featherlight Quick-Start Guide

Featherlight is a TTRPG (tabletop role-playing game) that is built to have simple, flexible rules that work for whatever world you want to play in. Featherlight's primary advantage is that you can explain the rules, create a character, and start playing in about the same time it takes to explain a simple-ish board game. Many other TTRPGs take at least an hour to explain, not to mention the time investment in just memorizing the necessary game mechanics in order to play.

Use this quick-start guide to get a handle on the basics of Featherlight to help you decide whether engaging with the core rulebook (also available on itch.io!) is a good use of time for your table. The quick-start guide has the same bones as the rulebook but the rulebook also includes a number of examples, informative graphics, and tips for would-be Featherlight Game Masters (GMs).
